In Year Applications
For Academic Year Sept 2021 – Aug 2022
Cowley St Laurence CE Primary School welcomes applications for admission to the school at any time during the school year. Applications can be made directly to the school by completing our application form, or through the local authority. If applying directly, any supporting documentation (Church Reference Form or Medical / Social needs evidence) and proof of the home address should be included with your application form.
Applications made directly to Cowley St Laurence are dealt with by the Frays Academy Trust’s Admissions Officer, who will contact you to confirm that a place is available. If your required Year group is full, you will be offered an alternative place at another school within the Trust whilst being added to the waiting list for Cowley St Laurence. You will receive a response within 5 school days of making your application. Please note that the waiting list is in order of our oversubscription criteria, and not dependent on when the application was made (full details of this can be found on the relevant Admissions Policy). All unsuccessful applicants have the right to appeal against the decision. Please contact the Frays Academy Trust Admissions Officer on 01895 462352 for more information.
Once an offer of a school place is made, you will have 2 weeks to contact the school and accept the offer. If no contact has been made once the deadline has passed, we reserve the right to withdraw the offer.
